MURRAY POMP
Murray Pomp is an award-winning artist and cartoonist. He has been a creative since he was a child. At age four he drew a detailed choo-choo train on his parent's brand-new couch. The medium? Permanent marker. He has since taken to more traditional artistic media.
In 2021, Murray graduated with a degree in Graphic Design from The North Coast College, where he doodled the first concept art for Bearing With Life in his notes. Years later, he would become the co-owner of Grizzled Comics, which he founded with P.R. Walton.
Expression through art and making people laugh is what keeps Murray going as a creator. He is honored to be a part of the comics community and hopes to keep contributing for years to come.
P.R. WALTON
When P.R. Walton was in kindergarten, their school had a what-do-you-want-to-be-when-you-grow-up day. There were scores of little astronauts, ballerinas, firefighters, and one tiny little Stephen King. From that point on they were destined for a career in publishing.
In high school, they would become fast friends with Murray Pompeani as the two met in a work study program for digital media. Though they would drift apart briefly, the two would come back together driven by the bonds of friendship, identity, and a shared dream.
Having graduated from Kent State University, P.R. Walton is set to continue the pursuit of those dreams. With a life-long love of horror, comedy, counter-culture, and the taboo, the comics scene and P.R. Walton are a perfect match.
